The name Peco is the registered trademark for Pritchard Patent Product Co. Ltd. and Peco Publications and Publicity Ltd, both of which are devoted to the hobby of model railways.
The offices and production area stands high on the hillside offering wonderful views of Beer village and the coast beyond. It is therefore quite natural that many railway enthusiasts visit the home of Peco and the site has become one of the country's most important tourist attractions, Pecorama. The exhibition of model railways, the Beer Heights Light Railway and the extensive gardens are all there to inspire and enjoy.
The forward looking family business started trading in 1946 and still today virtually all production is undertaken at its headquarters in Beer.
